Assassin's Creed Shadows' Attack On Titan Collab Is Being Slammed As An "Abomination" By Fans

Assassin's Creed is no stranger to a wacky crossover every now and again. We saw Ezio wearing Raiden's mech suit in the Metal Gear x Assassin's Creed Brotherhood crossover all those years ago, while Origins got a pretty weird crossover with Final Fantasy 15, which resulted in the most cursed camel/chocobo hybrid that still haunts my dreams to this very day.

However, Ubisoft managed to outdo itself with quite possibly its weirdest crossover yet, collaborating with none other than the anime series Attack on Titan for Assassin's Creed Shadows. It's definitely an interesting choice, and judging from early reactions to certain cosmetic items, it was a collab that a lot of fan were looking forward to.

That is, until the Attack on Titan crossover quest actually dropped. Over the past 24 hours, Assassin's Creed fans have been coming out on social media in droves to dunk on this particular crossover, calling it everything from an "abomination" to an "AI or a fan project." Having actually seen footage of the quest, I can quite comfortably say that these fans may have a point.
