Grand Theft Auto 6's latest delay will see it launch around a year from now. This isn't the first delay that the game has seen, but this time the unfortunate news didn't come with a new trailer to keep us hyped. With almost no new information to go on, the copium is hitting fans a bit harder. It seems someone decided to take advantage of that by AI-generating some leaked footage.
As reported by IGN, the ZapActu GTA6 Twitter account shared a brief video of what looked like GTA 6 gameplay. Of course, the now deleted video was AI generated, but it was good enough to garner around 8 million views, despite the community notes warning that it was made using AI. This understandably caused major backlash by fans starved of any real GTA 6 news, causing the creator to delete everything and admit it was AI.
