If you're a fan of dinosaurs, then living in the big 2025 is pretty hard, all things considered. Between a lack of video games, mediocre movies like Jurassic World Rebirth and just a general malaise surrounding the extinct creatures, things are rough.
It doesn't help that Dino Crisis fans have been teased left and right all throughout 2025. Between Capcom issuing a trademark for the franchise, releasing new merchandise online and word that two separate reboots were canceled, it's hard being a fan of dinosaurs.
Scratch that, it's also tough being a fan of franchises that Capcom seemingly wants nothing to do with, like Mega Man and Viewtiful Joe.
That said, things could get better with Turok Origins, the first true new entry in the once-Nintendo 64 franchise since the reboot in 2008. Announced during last year's edition of The Game Awards, the franchise is making a comeback via Saber Interactive, the team that gave us Space Marine 2, a revival of the Warhammer-centric third-person shooter that last appeared in 2011.
