Whether we like it or not, AI is going to be seeping more and more into video games. We've seen it with big hitters like Fortnite and Call of Duty, and sadly, it's only going to get worse. It's already at the point where it's attracting the attention of the US Congress.
Where Winds Meet, the first game from Netease-owned Everstone Studio, is one of the games pioneering functional AI (in lieu of paying actual writers). There have been occasions where people have used the AI to help them skip whole quests, and most impressively, one player managed to convince a male NPC they were pregnant with the player's child, only for the child to later pass away.
The latest quirk of these characters has now been discovered, with players convincing the AI they've solved their riddles, when in fact, they most certainly haven't.
Throughout Where Winds Meet's ancient Chinese world, there are characters who like to test you with riddles. These riddles often test your observation...
