Developer Cyanide and publisher Nacon have announced the release date for goblin sneak-'em-up Styx: Blades of Greed, and although the game has technically been delayed, it won't be too much longer before you get to play it.
As announced in a new trailer, Styx: Blades of Greed will be launching across PC and consoles on February 19th. The game was originally set for a 2025 release, a fact that the new release date trailer acknowledges rather neatly.
When it does arrive, Styx: Blades of Greed will be the third game in the Styx series; although the franchise began as a spinoff of 2012 RPG Of Orcs and Men, it's probably fair to say that Styx has overtaken its parent in terms of popularity by now.
As the name suggests, you'll once again take up the mantle of Styx himself in Styx: Blades of Greed. This time around, he's after a new power source known as Quartz, which will lead him to take part in the events that will form the basis for Of Orcs and Men's Black Hand organization's foundation.
