It's been nearly a year since the Florida-based video game developer and publisher Saber Interactive officially unveiled the next entry in the long-running Turok franchise with Turok: Origins at the 2024 Game Awards.
The first major Turok game since 2008's Turok reboot, Turok: Origins will have players embody Native American Turok warriors as they set off to fight monstrous dinosaurs and aliens in the Lost Lands with new DNA powers and a wide variety of weaponry.
Since it's initial announcement, little information on Origins' gameplay, story, and release window has been disclosed, with Saber Interactive last showing some co-op, first-person, and third-person gameplay at Gamescom 2025.
However, a recent update to a Saber Interactive developer's LinkedIn profile may have finally revealed a 2026 release window for the anticipated return of Turok.
Turok: Origins' Potential 2026 Release Date
According to Saber Interactive Spain Sound Designer Javi Bermejo's LinkedIn profile, the developer has been working at Saber for over three years, with one project he's worked on being Turok: Origins, which he labeled as "Forthcoming 2026."
