Geoff Keighley's Mysterious TGA Statue Is Not Diablo 4 Confirms Jason Schreier, But "It's A Good One"

A few days ago, The Game Awards' Geoff Keighley shared a cryptic image showing a portion of a statue, carved with demonic faces, a bear head, and other fantastical iconography. Of course, this led to fans thinking it could be a tease for anything from God of War to Diablo, and even The Elder Scrolls 6.

However, Sony Santa Monica's Cory Barlog revealed yesterday that it wasn't related to God of War. Someone eventually found that statue and revealed how the whole thing looks, leading to speculation that it could be a new Diablo 4 expansion. The story has now taken another twist, as Jason Schreier has revealed it has nothing to do with Diablo 4, but "it's a good one."

Replying to a Resetera thread about Jez Corden saying it was related to Diablo 4, Schreier said, "No idea where Jez is getting that, but this statue is not teasing the Diablo 4 expansion. (I don't currently plan on reporting what it is, sorry, but it's a good one.)"

Schreier saying it's a good one is quite the kicker. Most of us were bummed by the possibility of it being a Diablo 4 expansion, but this latest twist only...
