Kirby Air Riders Outsold By Lego Horizon Adventures And Dog Man: Mission Impawsible In The UK Last Week

Kirby Air Riders is one of Nintendo's big holiday games for 2025. However, early data indicate the pink puffball's latest outing is off to an incredibly poor start on the sales front.

Studios often don't release sales numbers for weeks or even months after a game's launch - and in some cases never reveal them at all if they're particularly awful - but physical sales data of all games is shared by GfK in the UK every week. It's not entirely accurate, but it provides a snapshot of which games are selling well, and this week's snapshot paints a worrying picture for Kirby Air Riders (thanks, Nintendo Life).

Nintendo's newest first-party game failed to break into the top ten during its launch week, which was the first red flag. At worst, most would have expected Air Riders to hold steady if it didn't rise through the ranks in week two, but that's not what's happened. The list is a top 40, and even though Air Riders isn't even two weeks old yet, it didn't sell enough copies to make it onto this week's list.
