The biggest change to the game is the ability for players to customize the items they can find in item boxes. You'll now find a custom items option under the item rules section, in which you can choose which items might show up in the race.

All gold mushrooms, all Bullet Bills, or even a race where the only thing you'll find in an item box is a blue shell.
