Metroid Prime 4 finally launches today, and those of us who've been waiting all these years are probably going to be rushing to the shops as soon as they open. While it hasn't really matched up to some of the previous games, it received some decent review scores and is selling pretty well. Players have complained that the writing is a bit cringeworthy, but wait till you hear this.

Once you make some headway into the game, Samus will be able to cruise across Solvalei on your motorbike, Vi-O-La. However, you'll soon find out that it's a rather quiet ride, with only ambient sound to keep you company. It turns out that there is a way to add music to this part of the game, but you'll need to buy the $29.99 Samus - Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Series amiibo.

Not including any music as you ride Vi-O-La around the desert would have been seen as a missed opportunity. It would have created a great vibe, and a nice way to cool down between battles. However, it seems that there initially might have been music and Nintendo decided to essentially lock it behind a $29.99 paywall....
