Red Dead Redemption's new mobile port is being hit with a surprising amount of one-star reviews by people who seem to think that Netflix was giving the game away for free.

Last month, Rockstar Games surprised us all by announcing a surprise remaster of Red Dead Redemption for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and mobile. Although it stung a little to see the original Red Dead Redemption get a new port instead of its sequel or GTA 4 like we've all been hoping for, that pain was eased a little when it was revealed that RDR's mobile port would be playable through Netflix.

Rockstar and Netflix have developed a surprisingly fruitful relationship over the last year or so, which made it nice to see one of its biggest games being added to the service and becoming playable for a whole new audience. For some reason, though, it seems a lot of people are confused about how exactly Red Dead Redemption's Netflix port actually works.
