At long friggin' last, the Medieval series is back. Creative Assembly has confirmed that it's in "early pre-production," and that's being heavily emphasized, so don't expect to see it any time soon.
The goal is to make the medieval era's definitive strategy title, which might be marketing-speak, but you can always feel the genuine passion from CA's devs - so there's no reason to doubt that ambition. "It's super exciting, but also a bit intimidating," says creative director Leif Walter on the moment that Medieval III has finally been announced. "It really feels like now is the right time [to do so]."
