The end of 2025 is near, and as we all await the results of awards shows like The Game Awards, pirates are already scrambling to see how they can make 2026 even bigger from a piracy standpoint.

Continue to try and solve the issue of Denuvo anti-piracy protection, the paid-for program that massive titles like Borderlands 4, Stellar Blade and Assassin's Creed Shadows all implement to keep their titles out of the hands of bad actors, even if it impacts paying customers' ability to play on PC.
After managing to break through on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, prolific member of the piracy community, voices38, said in a post that their "toolset is maturing," meaning they're getting ever closer to breaking through more titles.
"The progress to more modern Denuvo is steady," they wrote.
