Arc Raiders will soon be getting a major update that will wipe the progress of any who embark on its Expedition Project. The reasoning behind this is that the devs don't want to force the progress wipe on casual players. However, those who do opt for it will be able to respec their character more efficiently, now that we know more about the skills.
With the big progress wipe just a few days away, Arc Raiders players have been discussing which skills they should be going after first to make their time on the surface a bit easier. While some only give you basic stat increases, other skills act as game-changing capstones that improve your Raider's chances of survival.
In a post on the Arc Raiders subreddit, experienced players mentioned which skills helped them the most and which ones new or progressed wiped players should go after first. The Survival tree's skill and perks were clear favourites as they helped players not only to stay alive longer but bring back a lot more loot.
