Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3’s Gameplay Is “Almost Complete” And Has Moved To “Refining And Polishing” Phase

If you were to ask gamers what their most anticipated game was, you'd probably be greeted with a whole lot of "Grand Theft Auto 6". Outside of that, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 is a name that would undoubtedly surface a lot.

It's only been 18 months since the release of Rebirth, though, so official news on the title has been sparse. Director Naoki Hamaguchi has, however, promised that information will be coming "in the not-too-distant future", and that not-too-distant future seems to be edging ever closer.

In a new interview, Hamaguchi has given us a major development update, revealing that the gameplay portion of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 is "almost complete".

Speaking to French YouTuber Julien Chièze, alongside Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's Guillaume Broche (and translated by us at TheGamer), Hamaguchi said, "At this point, the core game experience is almost complete, and we’re now in the phase of refining and polishing it." It is, up to this point, the most explicit confirmation of the game's progress we've received.
