Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodill is a massive project that seeks to recreate the entirety of Cyrodill in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Unlike Skyblivion, which recreates The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, Beyond Skyrim seeks to tell original stories in Tamriel's other provinces. These stories are set during the same time period as the events of Skyrim.
The release of Skyblivion has been delayed until 2026, much to the disappointment of those eager to jump into the massive mod.
In other words, what's going on in the rest of Tamriel while the Dragonborn becomes a Nightingale, Civil War Hero, Werewolf, Werewolf Hunter Vampire, Vampire Hunter, Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, Archmage of the College of Winterhold and so on. Personally speaking, my Dragonborn plays the lute. But I digress.
Another huge Skyrim mod is recreating Cyrodiil, but this is different than Skyblivion.
The team behind Beyond Skyrim recently released a two-and-a-half-hour stream that shows off the progress they've made on Anvil and the surrounding Gold Coast region. The team released Beyond Skyrim: Bruma in 2017, a stellar mod that allows players to explore Cyrodill's northernmost city of Bruma (and the surrounding region) in Skyrim.
