Another Battlefield 6 update, another round of issues. I've been keeping on top of everything that players have been pointing out about the new patch, and so far I've seen an issue where the main menu is totally unusable, the firing range dummies can no longer be shot in the head, the game has random hitches and frame skips, audio seems to be a bit buggy, and players have already started to complain about the addition of even more vehicles in Breakthrough.
The Winter Offensive patch also introduces a new winter variation of Empire State and apparently includes some much-needed changes to netcode, hit registration, and weapon balance.
Many players are loading up Battlefield 6 right now to check out the new update, only to find the game largely unplayable. The main menu is completely bugged. You can't select which mode you want to play unless you use custom search. If you are experiencing this issue, restart your game. Try it multiple times if that doesn't work: mine started working on the third restart.
