We are running out of ways to make jokes about this, so let's get straight to the point: Bethesda just released Skyrim again.
Skyrim: Anniversary Edition is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, with its own dedicated, upgraded release. Anyone who already owns the Switch version of Skyrim can access this new and improved release as a free upgrade, so you might not have to put any money down for this latest build.
The gameplay trailer is what you'd expect - the Switch version of Skyrim, but running better. There's also some Creation Club content, including Switch-exclusive Nintendo items.
There's not much more to go over here, but it is worth noting that this version of the game will support Switch 2 mouse controls, so you can feel a little more like a PC player. One area in which you will not be feeling like a PC player, however, is the modding scene. There's no sign of console mods being added to Nintendo platforms anytime soon, despite this being available on PlayStation and Xbox for some time.
It'd be one helluva way to reveal the new setting.
Another thing we can glean from this release is that Bethesda likes...
