Phasmophobia developer Kinetic Games has revealed that the multiplayer ghost-hunting horror title's Winter's Jest event is set to return next week, bringing map makeovers, new rewards, and more.
As revealed in a press release, Winter's Jest, which is one of Phasmophobia's recurring holiday events, makes its triumphant return on December 16th, and several of the game's maps will receive festive makeovers to celebrate the event, including the new Nell's Diner location.
Once again, Krampus will be awakening from his lengthy sleep, and it'll be up to you find his jack-in-the-box, which will be "hidden across a rotating selection of event maps". Successfully completing this challenge will net you "frost-acular rewards".
Rewards include a new upgradable trophy, as well as a new ID card and badge. You will, of course, also get the chance to explore festive versions of maps including the aforementioned Nell's Diner, as well as Grafton and Bleasdale Farmhouses and more.
Elsewhere in Phasmophobia news, it was announced back in June that horror movie production studio Blumhouse is working on a movie adaptation of the game, with James Wan's production company Atomic Monster also set to co-produce.
