Disappointed Fans Blast Skyrim Switch 2 Port Over Massive Input Lag: "It Really Is Unplayable"

Few games can boast about having graced every platform imaginable over the past decade, but The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is certainly one of them, since it is officially playable on practically every console from the past three generations.

And with the arrival of the Nintendo Switch 2 earlier this year, the trend continued. Recently, Bethesda announced that the highly acclaimed RPG was on its way to Nintendo’s newest console, and its arrival should have been a moment of celebration. However, things did not go exactly as everyone expected.

Waiting For The "Hey, You. You're Finally Awake"

Expectations and hopes were that the Switch 2 version of Skyrim would live up to the acclaimed game, bringing the classic experience smoothly to yet another modern console – meaning it should, at the very least, be fully playable.

Unfortunately, that does not appear to be the case. Shortly after the port's launch, reports from disappointed players began popping up across community platforms like Reddit, alleging that the game is riddled with technical shortcomings that render it unplayable.
