For the most part, Pokemon Legends: Z-A has been well received. Its novel approach to the world, being set in one city, its switch to real-time battles, and its faster pace have all helped to form a great Pokemon experience. There is, however, one complaint that has persisted ever since the game's launch: the difficulty of obtaining the Shiny Charm.
Thankfully, with the release of the Mega Dimension DLC, Game Freak has made it much, much easier to achieve the illustrious item.
Look at any public forum discussing Pokemon Legends: Z-A since it launched, and you'll find people unhappy with how difficult it is to obtain the Shiny Charm. Sure, it's meant to be an endgame item, but grinding out 1,000 battles to get enough Research Points is a little much.
There were ways to get the charm without completing every research task, but there was simply no way to avoid the 1,000 battle grind. I spent many an hour myself battling my way through Legends: Z-A's nights.
If you haven't got the Shiny Charm yet, though, things have just got a lot easier with the release of the Mega Dimension DLC.
