PS5 Pro Is Once Again The Worst Console To Play A New Game On

Despite being the most powerful (and most expensive) console on the market, the PS5 Pro is once again having some oddly specific issues running a new game - this time, the wonderful Skate Story.

When the PS5 Pro was first revealed by Sony as the most powerful home console on the market, capable of running games better than ever before, it was an easy enough sell. So far, though, the console has mostly failed to live up to the hype, and has only noticeably benefited a few games here and there.

To make matters worse, the PS5 Pro has also actively been the worst place to play certain games at launch, with many third-party titles having issues that are specific to the console. Silent Hill 2, Metal Gear Sold Delta: Snake Eater, and Star Wars Outlaws are just a few recent examples of this, and now there's another game to add to that list.

Yesterday, the long-awaited Skate Story finally launched, bringing Sam Eng's wonderfully devilish love letter to skating to a number of consoles. As someone who's been excited for Skate Story for a while, I instantly grabbed it on PS5 Pro and prepared myself...
