Xbox Drops 2 Free Games You've 48 Hours To Grab, No Game Pass Needed

All Xbox gamers out there can get their hands on two excellent free games this weekend, and the very best part is, you won't need Xbox Game Pass to play them. The only catch? You don't have forever, so you'll want to be quick.

Xbox is getting into the Christmas spirit by making two very different games free to download and check out for a limited time as part of its weekly Free Play Days promotion. One of the games in particular, I can heartily recommend.

As part of Free Play Days Xbox has actually dropped three games, but one of those requires an Xbox Game Pass subscription, so is effectively dead to me.

The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos is free to play for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential subscribers from now until December 14. It's a cute little turn-based tactical RPG, kind of like a bite-sized Baldur's Gate 3.
