Paul Douglas, the co-creator of the original Tomb Raider, has shared his thoughts on the recently-revealed Legacy of Atlantis, and he doesn't seem too impressed with it.

Tomb Raider fans have spent a very long time waiting to see what Crystal Dynamics was going to do with the series next. Not only did we get to see that with Tomb Raider: Catalyst's announcement at The Game Awards, but we also learned that a new remake of the first game, Legacy of Atlantis, is coming next year.

As great as it is to see one of Lara's most iconic adventures get a fresh coat of paint and bring the series back to the forefront, it's not exactly a fresh idea. The first Tomb Raider has been revisited many, many times now (looking at you, Anniversary), which is something that series co-creator Paul Douglas has pointed out.
