It has been five years since Cyberpunk 2077 came out, and developer CD Projekt Red is celebrating with a special community event in which participants can win prizes, including an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090. The game's official fifth birthday was on December 10, but the celebration runs through the rest of the month and into the New Year.
In honor of its fifth anniversary, Cyberpunk 2077 is hosting the City of Legends Photo Mode Contest, in which players can enter to win prizes by posting screenshots in a thread on the game's official forum or on its Discord server. The screenshot parameters are very broad, hoping to be a celebration of Night City by having players capture screenshots of "the folks whose names echo through stories, the places where landmarks became myth… Is it a person, a place, or a vibe that evokes the city’s legendary status? Whatever left a lasting impression on those who dwell in Night City."
