Every so often, Steam serves up an RPG that I know I'll be spending a lot of time on. With The Witcher 3 and Valheim vibes abound, I know that this one is at least on my radar.
Over on Steam, you can grab this new, enticing survival-based RPG now. It promises "no hand-holding and no scaled encounters," which sounds tantalizing for any genre fans.
Outward 2 does exactly what it says on the tin. Billed as an "ultimate simulation of an adventurer's life," it aims to blend the fantasy of playing an RPG with the reality of the survival genre. As such, you'll need to become an adventurer in a "believable" way, sporting all the tools you can while slowly working up to heroic status.

After confirming the dialogue box that pops up, you'll be informed of when developer Nine Dots Studio is sending out more playtest opportunities via email. That's it!
