Fallout 4 Releases New Update For December 2025, and Fans Aren't Happy

Bethesda has released a brand-new Fallout 4 update for December 2025, but fans on one particular platform aren't happy. This is because the latest Fallout 4 update is missing one crucial feature that Bethesda had promised fans on Xbox Series X/S, and players are responding in turn by letting the developer know how they feel.

Last month, Bethesda launched Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary, and it didn't quite go as planned. Despite bringing all the game's DLC and over 150 Creation Club items into one package, there were tons of problems with mods, specifically the Creations Menu, leading to plenty of frustrated players online. This pretty quickly devolved into Fallout 4 being review-bombed on Steam by angry gamers, who let Bethesda hear their feelings in the best way they knew how. Bethesda swiftly responded with a small update roadmap, as it looked to get the Anniversary Edition back into working order. This latest Fallout 4 patch is one such update, but it fails to add a feature Xbox gamers have been looking forward to for a while now.
