The Elder Scrolls 6 news doesn't come often, but Bethesda has just addressed the upcoming game for the first time in a while. After its reveal in 2018, Bethesda has mostly maintained radio silence on The Elder Scrolls 6. It's better than announcing release dates only to delay the game for years, but it would be nice to get a little more information on the topic.

Speaking to GameInformer, The Elder Scrolls 6 director Todd Howard claimed that the game is "progressing very well." He notes that most of the studio is working on the game, but that development timelines at Bethesda "always overlap."

Studio Design Director Emil Pagliarulo shares that Bethesda doesn't stick to the "time pressure" that players put on the studio, explaining that the team is "going to take [its] time and as long as it needs to be to be great."
