While Amazon may be trimming down its MMORPG department, that doesn’t mean that Lost Ark will be wrapping up anytime soon in the west. Although we saw some questionable drawbacks to the latest raid, specifically missing half of the voice acting, the studio remains committed to bringing the best experience of Smilegate’s MMORPG. With December now half done, it’s time for Lost Ark’s monthly update, and while it was originally going to be a quiet month, Amazon has brought out the big guns thanks to the recent announcement at the LOA winter event.
Solo Modes
One of the biggest additions in the December update is the solo modes. While we’ve had solo modes in the past, specifically up until Aegir, Smilegate will be adding two new solo mode variations: Act II and Act III.
Both Brelshaza (version 2) and Mordum will be made available to be played alone. This will give newcomers and returning players some piece of mind, as there are no worries of being gatekept.
Coinciding with this update to the solo mode, the Solo Mode Shop will be updated with materials that generally come from both raids (Karma potions and 30-40 advanced honing materials).
