In Dispatch, players take on the role of Robert Robertson, an ex superhero named Mecha Man whose suit was destroyed while fighting his arch nemesis. Now without a suit, Robert has to work as a dispatcher at a superhero dispatch center. Over the course of eight episodes, players control which heroes Robert sends out to deal with emergencies across the city. Beyond that, Robert has to navigate office politics, build relationships, and work to fix his Mecha Man suit, so he can get back to being the hero he once was. Choices in Dispatch matter, and the variety of outcomes it allows have attracted the attention of a lot of choice-based fans.
