2025 was a huge year for Xbox Game Pass, as a staggering number of games were added to the catalog, even with the subscription service’s reorganization into a tier-based system a few months ago. There are several titles constantly being added to the service, and the Xbox Game Pass lineup in December is a perfect example of that, with games like Lost Records and Marvel Cosmic Invasion.
Now, we have a better sense of how this year was for Xbox Game Pass, thanks to the Reddit user mo-par, who put in the work to compile all of the games that were added to the service in 2025. As seen in their calculations, 19 first-party games were added this year, and 62 day-one releases were featured on Xbox Game Pass. The service also received several Retro Classics, Ubisoft Classics, and EA Access titles.
In total, the Reddit user points out that 296 games made their way into the Xbox Game Pass catalog in 2025. This includes titles that were previously available, were removed, and then re-added this year, as well as titles that were added for a shorter period and then removed.
