A new FIFA game has been announced by Netflix. The upcoming title, which will be free to play for Netflix subscribers, is being made by a co-developer of 007 First Light.

A little over three years have passed since the last FIFA-branded game hit the market in September 2022. After nearly three decades, EA Sports' licensing agreement with FIFA officially ended later that year, prompting the gaming giant to rebrand its soccer sim franchise as EA Sports FC. The shutdown of FIFA 23 servers in October 2025 marked the end of an era for the legacy series. FIFA stated in May 2023 that its officially licensed video games would continue, but no concrete details on these plans were shared at the time.
