New content in Grand Theft Auto Online has led some players to believe that they may be able to transfer their characters to GTA 6 when its multiplayer mode launches. For everything we don't yet know about GTA 6, we know even less about the potential new version of GTA Online.
One of the most common questions players have about GTA 6's online mode is whether it'll allow them to transfer years of progress from the current version. A cutscene included in the A Safehouse in the Hills update, released last week, may include an answer.
Captured by RandomWeirdThings 248 on YouTube and uploaded to Reddit by thepostmanfather, the clip above shows a cutscene from the mission "A Clean Break." In it, an NPC, Avi, tells the player's custom character that they need to "lay low" and "go off the grid" after a job well done.
This suggests to some players that GTA Online is teasing a method for transferring characters into GTA 6 when its online mode launches. The theory is that the player character will flee San Andreas for Leonida, the setting of GTA 6, where their story will continue.
Of course, Rockstar hasn't mentioned anything about...
