Tomb Raider Returns With Surprise New Release Ahead Of Legacy Of Atlantis

Tomb Raider is mounting a major comeback with Legacy of Atlantis next year, but it's getting the ball rolling before then. The Game Awards reveal of both Legacy of Atlantis and the 2027 game Tomb Raider: Catalyst made it clear that the franchise is full speed ahead once more. Now, it's become clear that a mobile port will be the first step.

Today, Feral Interactive revealed a YouTube trailer for an iOS and Android port of the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot. The trailer shows the game running on both phones and tablets with a new touch-based UI. Tomb Raider's port will release on February 12, 2026.

Tomb Raider was a graphical flagship when it released on seventh-generation consoles, so even 12 years later, it's impressive to see it headed to mobile devices. The trailer reveals some graphical compromises compared to the PC version, but the overall look of the game remains generally intact.
