Xbox Game Pass has had a solid December so far, offering the service to new members for only $1, no matter the tier, while also adding in new day-one releases and older games to its catalog. However, Game Pass isn't done yet, as the service has now added four classics to round out December 2025. It's a great way to end the year, and you may want to check out one or more of these titles.

Xbox Game Pass has announced, via its Xbox Wire blog, that four new games are coming to its Essential plan via its Retro Classics update for December. This also includes more games coming to Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The Retro Classics collection is explained as "Xbox Game Pass subscribers can join weekly tournaments, take on community challenges and enjoy a growing library of Activision and Blizzard games with the Retro Classics collection." It's always expanding, and that includes four new games this month.
