Fallout 76 certainly isn't the greatest Fallout game of all time, but in 2025, it's a much better experience than it was at launch. After years of continual updates and content additions, the Wasteland of Appalachia is looking a lot more thoroughly populated. Add in the ability to experience the post-apocalypse with friends, and it's well-worth considering for any fan of Fallout.

The Deep Discounts section of the new Steam Winter Sale features a 90% discount on Fallout 76, reducing the game's cost from $39.99 to $3.99. This includes Fallout 76's long history of content updates, including the new Burning Springs tie-in with the Amazon series. The Atomic Angler bundle and the new Burning Springs starter bundle, however, are excluded.

The whole Fallout franchise is discounted for the Steam Winter Sale, but Fallout 76 has the best savings compared to its typical MSRP.
