This year has been a big one for role-playing games, but one of the best RPGs of 2025 isn't done yet. Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has gotten a new trailer for its next major update, and the free DLC is coming soon.
As revealed over on YouTube by Level-5, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will get a major update next week. While no concrete date is given, the trailer states "around Christmas 2025," which means it should be arriving sometime in the next few days.
Titled, "The Sinister Broker Bazario's Schemes," the major update will introduce an "open-world rougelike" island called Snoozaland where you must choose items carefully and fight your way through. No equipment or levels from the base game will carry over. While in this dream world, you'll power up faster, but you'll also need to strategize in order to make it further, which is where new support items and using the Alchemy Robot will come into play.
