PlayStation Plus Gamers Have One Last Chance To Play An Epic RPG For Free

If you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you have one last chance to play this excellent RPG before it departs the service this January. Sony's own subscription service for online play on PS4 and PS5 has expanded its library significantly this year, most recently adding a few new co-op games to be enjoyed with friends or family this holiday season.

But just as new games arrive on PS Plus, so too do old ones go away. Subject for deletion on January 20, 2026, is Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, a 2023 entry in the beloved Yakuza/Like A Dragon series (via Push Square). If you're experienced with the series, or just a fan of action RPGs in general, this game is not one to be missed.

Like A Dragon Gaiden is one of four games set to depart PS Plus this January, along with SD Gundam Battle Alliance, Sayonara Wild Hearts, and Monopoly Plus. All four games are available via PS Plus Extra until January 20, when they'll be removed from the service until further notice.
