SEGA is kicking off the countdown to the half-anniversary of the free-to-play game Persona5: The Phantom X. Starting December 25, players will have access to update 2.7, which adds Justine and Caroline from the console game Persona 5 to the roster of available characters.

Persona5: The Phantom X is a free-to-play gacha game for mobile devices and PC. Developed by Perfect World in collaboration with Atlus and Sega, the title brings an alternative take on the Persona 5 universe featuring another group of Phantom Thieves alongside familiar faces from the console game.
The story follows a young man whose codename is Wonder. Alongside Lufel, he creates the Phantom Thieves to deal with the Menaces terrorizing society without any retaliation against them.
Just like the console editions of Persona 5, The Phantom X mixes RPG and simulation elements. Namely, outside of operations that demand battling various foes, players have to deal with a daily routine, spending some time to do activities and bond with team members to improve their synergy.
