A Red Dead Redemption 2 player has made a strange discovery related to Arthur Morgan's horse. Even seven years after release, fans are still discovering new details about Red Dead Redemption 2. Some of them completely recontextualize the game, its characters, and its story. Some of them are just plain weird.
This one falls into the latter category. Reddit user Severe-blake6720 recently posted an RDR2 clip in which Arthur jumps off his horse during a group ride, right before a cutscene begins. The cutscene is still triggered, but instead of riding his horse, Arthur simply runs alongside the rest of the posse, keeping up as best he can.
It's unknown whether this extends to other cutscenes, or just the one depicted in the video, but the title seems to imply that it's universal. One can only imagine how much effort went into this clip, timing Arthur's dismount so perfectly so that he gets off his horse before the cut but still triggers the ensuing scene.
The clip has provoked all sorts of reactions from other fans, who generally find the clip hilarious. One commenter, AngryKeyLimePie, invoked Arthur's voice: "Just gettin' my steps in, boahs!"
And others suggested...
