Rocket League's fourth Season starts soon.

On the Rocket League website, it was announced that Season 4 of Rocket League will begin soon. The new Season will start on August 11th. Season 4 will introduce a new Arena called Deadeye Canyon. There will also be a new car entitled the Outlaw. Rocket Pass Premium will have over 70 tiers of loot, including the No-Name Topper, Tanker Wheels, Amikoo Decal, and the Lava Boost. As always, those who own Rocket Pass Premium will receive an XP boost as well as additional Weekly and Seasonal challenges.

It was announced that Competitive Tournaments will be growing in all regions. Additional Tournaments are being added, with 2v2 and Extra Mode Tournaments being added to the mix. Players can check out the schedule every day to see what Extra Mode is being featured and to see the start times. Tournament Rewards have been refreshed for the upcoming Season. 2v2 Heatseeker will kick off as the featured LTM on August 12th, the day after the new Season starts. On August 19th, the Speed Demon LTM will begin. This LTM combines mutators, the speed of Boomer Ball without the wild bounces, demos on contact, and a fast respawn timer. Spring Loaded, the Rumble variant that is currently a mutator option in Private Matches, will be added to the LTM mix later on in the month.

A few new features will be coming to Rocket League in Season 4. There will now be a Streamer Safe Music Feature. This new Audio Setting will allow streamers to turn off copyrighted music. Those who queue in Ranked playlists in an undersized party will have to be within three Ranks of each other in order to queue. This is being implemented so that the third teammate that is found via matchmaking will join a team that is roughly the same Rank as their teammates. There will also be the ability to forfeit Casual Matches just like Competitive Matches. If all players on a team vote to forfeit, the match will end.

Rocket League is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch. The game is free-to-play.
