Could we be headed back to New Vegas for the Fallout remaster we've all been waiting for? A recent datamined image certainly seems to suggest that's the case, and the evidence is pretty damn hard to ignore.
As you probably know, the latest series of Amazon Prime's Fallout takes viewers to New Vegas for the first time since the beloved 2010 video game. With all the hype around the Fallout franchise right now, and specifically New Vegas as a location, a remake or remaster of Fallout: New Vegas seems like a no-brainer, right?
First spotted over on Reddit, a recent datamine of Fallout 76 confirms that we'll soon be able to get our hands on a special Legate Lanius armor set in the online multiplayer game. Lanius is one of the major players in Fallout: New Vegas. He's a member of Caesar's Legion, a terrifying group of slavers modeled after the military of the Roman Empire.
Given the success of Amazon's Fallout series, it makes sense that Bethesda would want to pay further tribute to New Vegas. But fans are convinced this goes deeper than a simple armor set for an online game.
