The only thing better than playing a great game on Steam, is playing one for free. This festive season, you can get your hands on a copy of Undercroft Warriors absolutely free. All you need to do is log into your Steam account and click download before 6pm on December 31, 2025. It couldn't be simpler.
Undercroft Warriors launched back in August 2024 and seemed to slip quietly under the radar with only six user reviews to date from the Steam community. It plays like an old school twin-stick shooter and for the small few that have played it, it's really rather good. Users have said the difficulty scaling is spot on, the gameplay loop is compelling and the on-screen action is challenging but a whole heap of fun.
The systems requirements bar is also extremely low. Thanks to its old-style graphics and retro gameplay, this game will basically run on any PC from the last decade or so. According to the developer, they've yet to find a computer that this won't run on. This isn't the first free festive game giveaway on Steam and, hopefully, won't be the last.
