Red Dead Redemption made a splash when it originally came out, but it wasn't until the sequel that the series took off into the stratosphere. Now, it's one of the best-selling games of all time.
Over on Reddit, fans are debating the newest comments from leaker NateTheHate, who recently noted that there would be a Red Dead Redemption release in the next year.
According to the leak, Red Dead Redemption 2 could return in 2026 in remastered form. This isn't the most exciting prediction, as we know this massively best-selling game will come back at some point, but it could be earlier than we thought. Originally, according to the leaks, it was slated for release already, but allegedly, it and the Red Dead Redemption re-release were in the works at the same time.
This seems entirely plausible, but the real question is, when is it coming out? If it's really in the works, it could be in the next year, but if it's on the back burner, we might get it around the launch of the next console generation. Rockstar may want all eyes on GTA 6 once it hits.
