Dispatch Artwork Has Been Censored on the Nintendo Switch Eshop

Artwork for a Dispatch DLC has apparently been censored in the United States on the Nintendo eShop, altering the clothing and covering up the skin of some of the more scantily clad characters with some extra fabric. Dispatch has been one of the hottest indie games of 2025, and has earned widespread critical acclaim.

Initially premiering on October 22 for PlayStation 5 and PC, Dispatch is an episodic adventure game that was released in eight chapters, with the final two coming out November 12. Set in an alternate version of Los Angeles where encountering people with superpowers has become part of normal life, the story follows Mecha Man, a.k.a. Robert Robertson III, who is recruited into the role of a dispatcher for the Superhero Dispatch Network after he botches a highly important personal mission. The narrative adventure has earned high praise from fans and critics alike, even snagging Best Debut Indie Game and Players' Voice nominations for publisher and developer AdHoc Studio at The Game Awards 2025.
