Lost Ark Finally Gets Long-Awaited Balance Patch, Thaemine Extreme

Every month, Amazon and Smilegate release a new update for Lost Ark, ensuring the MMORPG doesn’t get stale too quickly. It’s a good release pattern that, while it has its downtimes, generally maintains a solid flow of content. To kick off 2026, we are getting quite the update, although it’s more of a catch-up patch than anything as most of the content is stuff that we expected to come earlier.

Thaemine Extreme

The biggest part of this patch is undoubtedly the release of Thaemine Extreme. This is a raid that was released in Korea even before Kazeros Act IV and Denouement, so its timing is a little strange, to say the least. Regardless, better to get it late than not at all, as this raid will feature Gate 4 of Thaemine but revised.

This will be a timed event, lasting a set amount of time, and then will be removed. This is similar to Valtan Extreme that we got almost two years ago, bringing back a beloved gate from a past raid and turning it into an event.
