Star Wars Battlefront 2’s development may be finished in an official capacity, but that hasn’t stopped modders and all-encompassing fan projects like KYBER and Battlefront Plus from both reimagining and crafting content for the game. Any Star Wars Battlefront 2 fans who are longing for a third installment owe it to themselves to check out KYBER, a huge hit within a community that understandably wanted more from DICE and EA’s latest Battlefront game.
In the latest update from the official KYBER X account, the custom Battlefront 2 content hub announced that its “first content update of 2026 on PC” is playable right now. KYBER is a big project with a ton of love poured into it from the community that upholds it, and all of its custom servers and more can be accessed for free.
To the uninitiated, KYBER is one big hub of content as a game launcher that “provides dedicated 24/7 servers, comprehensive support for community-created mods, and enhanced immersion through proximity voice chat and detailed career statistics.”
