Hytale Offers Up To $25K To Players Who Find New Bugs

In June 2025, Hytale was dead and gone. Riot Games had given up on the project and shuttered Hypixel Studios, and the passion project seemed like it would remain dormant in the League of Legends developer's portfolio forever. Six months later, the studio's original co-founder, Simon Collins-Laflamme, had reacquired Hytale, and just a few months later, early access was released.

According to Collins-Laflamme, over three million players have accessed Hytale's early access, easily making it one of the most popular early access periods ever. It's an incredible story, and now Hypixel Studios is trying to capitalise on the success of the early access launch by ironing out the game's many bugs.

In the interest of that objective, Hytale developer DevSlashNull has revealed that Hytale is offering massive cash rewards for players who can discover and reproduce bugs. If we've learned anything from speedrunning, it's that some people are very gifted at the art of breaking games wide open.
