The Legend of Zelda has had a long and prosperous run, but many fans are still waiting for Wind Waker to escape older platforms and make its way to the Switch. It's a classic for a reason, and it's currently stuck on the GameCube and Wii U.
Thanks to unofficial efforts, you can try the game in 4K. The creator has a full breakdown of their 4K visuals on YouTube, and the results are stunning.
Wind Waker remains a favorite among Zelda fans due to its rich universe, unique sailing mechanics, and fantastic art style. While some originally scoffed at the idea of Toon Link being in a mainline entry, folks quickly became enamored with it, and are still fans decades later.
In terms of this 4K texture pack from creator Henriko Magnifico (which you can get a taste of in the video below), getting to see iconic locations like Outset Island and Dragon Roost Island in stunning 4K textures is a treat. Every single time I see this game in motion, I want to go replay it. Thank goodness I still have my Wii U and GameCube hooked up.
