Popular content creator Kai Cenat has been busy during his hiatus from Twitch, as he explained that he was focusing his full attention on developing his new fashion brand. Kai Cenat said that he took a break from Twitch following his Mafiathon 3 event in September 2025 to focus on his mental health, and said that he had been dealing with impostor syndrome and feelings of self-doubt for some time.
After starting his content creation career on YouTube through vlogs, Kai Cenat first started streaming on Twitch in 2021. Since jumping into full-time livestreaming, Cenat has played through various games like the Batman: Arkham trilogy and Soulslike titles such as Elden Ring and Bloodborne. As of this writing, Kai Cenat's last broadcast on Twitch was the Mafiathon 3 event that took place throughout September 2025. In short, Mafiathon 3 was a month-long 'subathon' that saw the popular content creator joined by celebrities like NBA superstar LeBron James and recording artist Mariah Carey for various activities. Cenat stated that 15% of all subscriber revenue earned during Mafiathon 3 would go toward building a school in Nigeria.
